Mama Mojo Fitness is a gym-free personal training service, running classes in Beckenham, Crystal Palace, West Wickham and West Norwood. Our aim is to motivate and encourage mums to find the time to exercise and to help you get your mojo back!

I'm a firm believer that exercise can hugely improve your mood and state of mind. It can energise you, boost your self esteem and encourage you to make more positive lifestyle choices.

Whether your goals are to lose weight, improve muscle tone, improve fitness or just to have fun and feel more like the old you again, Mama Mojo Fitness classes or Personal Training sessions will be exactly what you need.

It doesn't matter if you were once a fitness fanatic or if you have never exercised in your life! MamaMojo exercise classes are suitable for all fitness abilities with both high and low impact options. Everyone will be properly screened to ensure it is safe to exercise and I will also check your stomach for Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) and adapt exercises to make sure you are focusing on healing properly and not doing your body further damage. Exercises will focus on strengthening the pelvic floor, engaging the core, and then incorporating safe and effective exercises for stabilising, strengthening and rebalancing the core and whole body


For Personal Training, you will undergo a full consultation, including (if requested) an alignment check, Diastasis Recti Check, food diary review, measurements and before and after photos and fitness testing to assess progress. From this, we will design you a tailor made personal training programme which will see you reach your aims and goals.

I have always enjoyed exercising but after giving birth I suffered from abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti), umbilical hernia and my pelvic floor was very weak. I wasn’t sure as to what type of exercise I could do to get fit again and at the same time to ‘heal’ my body after having a baby. Jen’s expert knowledge about post pregnancy exercise gave me a lot of confidence and slowly with her help I started feeling stronger and fitter and my muscle separation started healing too! My name's Jennifer Lee. I'm mum to 9 month old Elodie, 4 year old Xander and step-mum to 9 year old Bella. I'm also a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 3 Pre and Post Natal Exercise specialist  and England Athletics running leader. I have always enjoyed exercise and keeping fit, having taken part in many running, cycling and fitness challenges and events over the years. It's always been just for fun, but it is also how I relax and something that makes me feel good.


After having my baby by emergency C-Section and suffering from diastasis Recti (a separation of the abdominal muscles),  I felt very unsure of what exercises I should or shouldn't do, finding a lot of conflicting advice and guidance out there. I wanted to ensure that I exercised safely and at the right intensity. I found that there wasn't enough support or classes available for new mums and that there was a lack of  'bring-a-long' your baby classes. Not having anyone to babysit close to hand, I found time to work out difficult and frustrating.


After educating myself about post-natal exercise I found the whole subject fascinating and decided to re-train as a personal trainer with a pre and post-natal specialism. I then set up Mama Mojo Fitness in order to share my experiences with new mums and to offer a fun and friendly environment to exercise safely without having to worry about childcare.


Mama Mojo Fitness is all about finding your mojo again. Regaining your spark, meeting new friends and getting moving and feeling like the old you again, or perhaps an even better you!
